about The Road To Americanism

At a time when America’s founding principles face unprecedented challenges, former Cold War intelligence officer Dennis Haugh delivers a powerful defense of American constitutionalism rooted in original historical sources. Drawing from his unique experience confronting communist propaganda during the Cold War, Haugh exposes how modern attacks on American history mirror age-old tactics of ideological subversion.

This isn’t just another book about the Constitution—it’s a roadmap for understanding and preserving the unique cultural achievement that is Americanism. Through meticulous research and compelling analysis, Haugh reveals:

– How the American identity evolved to create history’s first anti-slavery culture

– The philosophical foundations that make our Constitution uniquely suited to protect individual rights

– Why understanding our founding principles is crucial for countering modern threats to liberty

– How current attacks on American history echo historical patterns of ideological subversion

Unlike politically motivated interpretations of American history, “The Road to Americanism” draws directly from primary sources to reveal the true nature of our constitutional heritage. Haugh demonstrates how the principles that united diverse colonies into a revolutionary force for liberty can still unite Americans today.

For citizens concerned about preserving American liberty for future generations, this book provides both the historical knowledge and practical tools needed to defend constitutional principles against modern threats, both foreign and domestic.

About This Author

Dennis Haugh is a jack of all trades: Cold War warrior, mathematician, computer scientist, heavy-metal guitarist, motorhead, farmer, and historian.  He is the author of two books on the US Constitution. During the Cold War, Dennis served as an interrogator for the Air Force Survival, Escape, Resistance and Evasion (SERE) program. The role required a solid grasp of how communists use language to twist the truth. He achieved deeper understanding of Marxist techniques by researching the works of former and current communists, as well as those who successfully turned communists to the western way of liberty. Dennis graduated from the US Air Force Academy in 1973 with a B.S. in Mathematics and holds an M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Colorado at Boulder.  He holds multiple US and international patents. When he became alarmed by the lack of education about our American Constitutional heritage, he dedicated himself to bridging that gap. In his latest work, he underscores how our lack of understanding of Marxist treachery is a direct threat to our liberty.
