‘Ruby’s Prayer’ Movie Adaptation in the Works From ‘Dallas Buyers Club’ Producer

Truth Entertainment is developing a movie based on “Ruby’s Prayer,” Ronald H. Keyser’s recently released historical novel set in the Wild West in the post-Civil War era.

Truth Entertainment was a production company on the Matthew McConaughey-Jared Leto drama “Dallas Buyers Club.”

Joe Newcomb, chairman and CEO of Truth Entertainment, and Keyser will serve as executive producers on the “Ruby’s Prayer” movie project. They are currently out to screenwriters to adapt the script.

Truth Entertainment has acquired movie and international rights to “Ruby’s Prayer.” It will also own the international rights to Keyser’s next work, a fictional account of a real-life Texas family known for their fame and fortune.
