FIDE Master Todd Andrews was born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee. His tournament achievements include:

• One-Time Georgia Rare Champion ('04)
• Top Rated 17-18 in the United State in Summer 2000 on the Top-100 List
• US National Junior Team Olympian
• US National Junior Championship Invitee
• 3-Time Tennessee High School Champion
• 10-Time Nashville City Champion
• US Chess National Master
• US Chess Life Master
• US Chess Senior Master

Todd, known since his teenage years as "The People's Champion," also has many coaching accolades including National Scholastic US Championship teams and one individual National High School Champion, many State Championship teams and individuals and various students have gone on to achieve a master ranking. Todd has managed and overseen chess programs in hundreds of schools influencing the lives of our strong-minded youth for decades. Todd has one Chess journalism of American Award for his report on the 2007 US Master's Championship in Chess Life Magazine. The article received 2nd Place as the most instructive article of that year. Although he has written for numerous printed and online chess sources over the year, The Final Attack Volume 1: Ascend is his first fully composed and original chess book.
