about Peter J. Sandys
Peter J. Sandys began his lifelong fight against leftist ideology at the age of 15, when he was imprisoned for attempting to escape communist Hungary, where he was born and raised. After his release, he completed technical high school, served in the military, and earned a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from the Technical University of Budapest. During his time in university, he studied the political economy of socialism and Marxist-Leninist philosophy, preparing himself to challenge the Left from within.
In 1972, after successfully defecting to the West, Peter settled in the United States, where he pursued further education, earning an MBA from Loyola Marymount University and a doctorate in international business from the University of California. Over the course of four decades, he worked in engineering and business management roles around the world. Now retired in Germany, Peter has authored two books and remains a staunch advocate for freedom and anti-leftist ideals. He has one daughter and a grandson.
