Kristen Fruge is a passionate writer and educator whose journey from the bayous of Southwest Louisiana to the bustling suburbs of Texas has shaped her unique voice and perspective. With a lifelong dream of becoming an author, Kristen’s path has been anything but conventional.

After earning her Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communications from McNeese State University, Kristen dedicated several years to teaching high school English, nurturing young minds while secretly nurturing her own writing aspirations. Her roots in a small Christian school and her experience in public education have given her a nuanced understanding of the power of words and the importance of education.

In 2023, Kristen made the bold decision to leave the classroom, not to abandon her students, but to reach them—and countless others—through a different medium. Armed with what she considers “one of the mightiest weapons known to man, the written word,” Kristen embarked on a new chapter in her life as a full-time writer.

Now residing in Conroe, Texas, with her husband Jacob and their four amazing children, Kristen draws inspiration from her rich life experiences, her faith, and her unwavering commitment to making a difference.
