Drew Brick has lived and worked in Asia for over 30 years, actively advising governments, central banks, exchanges, corporate suites of global financial market practitioners and independent trade associations on capital market structure, financial technology and Chinese politics. He has held senior positions in finance, most recently as President of a Hong Kong-based hedge fund and the Chairman of one of China’s largest securities firms, spearheading its international business development. Drew headed Bloomberg’s strategic acquisitions and partnerships in Asia-Pacific. He has also served as a member of PIMCO’s Global Investment Committee and Board of Directors for PIMCO Global Advisors Asia. Drew started his career as Deputy Editor of the Asian Wall Street Journal editorial page after serving as a China specialist in Washington D.C. He has lectured on International Finance at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and on Asian Political Economy at The Johns Hopkins University.
